Ashley Dickey is a Pre-Licensed Therapist at the Wellness Center of Oxford. A recent graduate of Delta State University, Ashley has worked with several populations over the past decade, including adults with mental illnesses, developmentally delayed adults, seriously emotionally disturbed children, adults who are battling addiction, family preservation cases, elderly clients, and academic students. After becoming a new mother, Ashley is eager to work with other mothers, empowering them and providing them with a safe and nurturing atmosphere. Ashley uses an eclectic approach, incorporating person-centered counseling, existential, cognitive-behavioral, and family systems approach to therapy. She uses a variety of counseling techniques such as expressive arts, mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral.
