The human soul doesn’t want to be advised or fixed or saved. It simply wants to be witnessed–to be seen, heard, and companioned exactly as it is.” - Parker Palmer

My goal is to empower clients by providing a safe space to be heard and to grow. I believe each person is the expert in their own life and that therapy can provide tools to get past stuck points we all experience. I especially enjoy walking alongside young adults as they work through issues related to college, career, relationships, spirituality, and other “messy stuff.” I have experience providing therapy for individuals in active addiction and those in recovery from substance abuse, as well as loved ones of those in active addiction and recovery. Additionally, I have worked with adults with special needs, including Asperger’s and other autism spectrum disorders. In every interaction, I strive to meet clients where they are with empathy and respect.

I use an eclectic approach including existential, cognitive-behavioral, and creative techniques. Currently, I am completing requirements to become trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I enjoy blending evidence-based practices with creative interventions to design a therapy experience that fits each client individually.
