It is my privilege and honor to walk with you through your personal healing journey. I have over a decade of experience sitting with individuals of all ages who are processing a range of emotions from immense pain to stress from the daily struggles we all face. My specialty areas include mindfulness and play therapy. 

My background in play therapy and expressive arts techniques allows me to effectively treat clients of all ages. Play is a child’s language. Through the use of play-based interventions, children can express themselves in ways that they may not be able to with words due to their brain development. However, play and art are not only for children. I have experience using those techniques to help adolescent and adult populations access deeper levels of healing by tapping into their subconscious in order to begin to work on the root of their concerns.

In addition to having a specialist’s degree and many years of experience using play and art in my therapy sessions, I use mindfulness techniques to help children, teens, and adults improve their thoughts and feelings, and resolve unwanted behaviors. My research agenda focuses on using mindfulness protocols to reduce stress, improve mood, and reduce aggressive behaviors in adolescents. I believe in the power of intentional attention to change how we perceive and experience our lives.
